The looming black monster strikes again.
Dark claws radiate an eerie sheen
As they launch into view.
This monster has always been mine.
Mine to wrestle, mine to conquer.
The creature’s now been loosed,
Storming the alleys,
Waiting for an unsuspecting traveler.
Focusing its target on my companions,
The monster wages war wildly
On unsuspecting friends
Who don’t know what it’s like to wrestle
And face your worst enemy
Who often masquerades under false identity,
And tries to convince you
That your worst enemy is yourself.
